  • Extraction from resources should not exceed their rates of renewal and re-generation;
  • All that is consumed should be fully recycled;
  • Toxic and non-recyclable waste should be eliminated;
  • Provision of clean water, clean air, and clean earth;
  • Elimination of hazardous chemicals and pollutants from modern industries, agriculture, high tech buildings and mechanical transportation;

Urban Forestry:

Increase forestation: River, canal, road and other marginal lands can supply entire needs of timber for the metropolitan area;

    I wanted to share a film that has affected my thinking about ecology and environmental activism.
    It's called La Belle Verte, a French production from the mid 1990s that has, by and large, aged well.
    I have it in a decent print with English subtitles.
    It might be an idea to screen it.
